Boreal WMUs 500 Series (& 841)

Big Game Seasons

Archery-only season are those where only a bow and arrow may be used to hunt.

General seasons are those where either a firearm, crossbow or a bow and arrow may be used.

(1) If hunting with an outfitter, hunters should note these WMUs are split into two seasons: Sept. 1 - Oct. 31 or Nov. 1 - Nov. 30.

(2) Refer to the description of 3-point or larger elk and 6-point or larger elk.

Additional hunting opportunities in the Boreal WMUs:

The supplemental antlerless white-tailed deer licences will be issued with one tag and be valid in the following WMUs: 200-208, 214, 220-246, 248, 258, 260, 332, 334, 440-446, 500-504, 506 and 509-519.
